What happens to the brain during meditation? (scientifically)? - what happens to the brain during a concussions

The brain is an organ with the help of electromagnetic electrochemical energy to function. From the electrical activity of the brain shows the shape of the brain brainwaves.emanating shown in the form of brainwaves.

During the meditation changes the brain waves to theta waves crossing.

THETA - 4-7 cycles per second - Day Dreaming, dreaming, creativity, meditation, paranormal phenomena, from the body experiences, in particular shamanic journeys

Mindfulness meditation and related techniques to the attention for the good cause introspection train. Think of it as the opposite of attention deficit disorder. A broader and more flexible use of attention is easier to be aware of a situation, easier to be objective in emotionally or morally difficult situations easier to achieve in a state of response, creative awareness or "flow".

Meditation increases activity in the left prefrontal cortex, and the changes are stable over time - even if you meditate for a while to stop, is the effect.

Depending on the drug, what you're talking about. Some) had no effect on brain function at all (such as aspirin or ibuprofen. Others affect only the brain (such as SSRIs change) such as serotonin in the brain. What medications are you worried?

Edit: Ha ha ha! I thought you said that the drugs:)

While exploring meditation and prayer, to several areas of the brain shows that the brain are active. Some studies show that meditation makes more people are awake and alert, while others show that mediation does not allow brain function and activity. Here's an interesting article about it --

A little or no stimulation.

If you have problems with attention deficit, or if you are asberg continuum of autism, as I have, you need stimulation.

If not, meditation to your advantage.

(When I meditate, I am playing something on the floor or holding my hands in a routine and simple. To think effectively link my brain. So I've noticed most of the New Testament. I used to do routine things to see and hear read the NT on cassette several times. After 20 years not to far from the Old Testament many NT verses and chapters from memory.)

All long-term benefits are short. You should study about people who have meditated for years. It is not pretty! Loss of memory. Lack of concentration. I wonder if search engines are as good as they were. I know you can find in the research library.

They interact with the object in your body. If you are not new or "better" / N. Work to do with him.

The result: hallucinations.

EDIT: lol, I read the drug.
