Penwest - There are many different types of hepatitis. Can not detect the caused by a virus during a blood transfusion, the two hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Even if they lived in their donations in the early stages of infection by these viruses when they are still contagious. Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C infections are the most serious are transmitted through body fluids such as blood and semen. Because of Immunization ( "shots"), you need not worry about hepatitis B. Hepatitis A is transmitted by concern transfusion. There is currently no effective vaccine against hepatitis C, but many efforts are underway to develop such a vaccine.
